Somerset Play Forum Small Grants 2011
Somerset Play Forum is pleased to announce awarding over £4,500 for play activities across Somerset
All the successful projects / events will provide play that offers a free choice of activities, is free of charge and free for children & young people to come and go between activities.
Exmoor Community Youth Club was awarded £400 to support its Summer Camp in August. Mike Warner, Trustee said, ‘We are very grateful for the grant. Without it, the trip would not be taking place.’
Other projects that received funding:
- Crowcombe Baby & Toddler Group – £400 for ‘Play Day Go Wild!’
- South Somerset District Council - £800 for National Play Day at Ninesprings
- South Somerset Outdoor Learning Partnership - £720 for ‘Wilder Woods on the Go!’
- Curry Rivel School - £400 for ‘Love2Play’
- Sedgemoor Play Day - £800 for National Play Day at Apex Park
- CLOWNS - £617 for ‘Family Fun Day’
- Chilthorne Domer Youth Sports Club - £400 for Chilthorne Domer Play Day
